Alexander Reiterer is head of the »Object and Shape Detection« department at Fraunhofer IPM, with more than 10 years of experience in the field of geodesy, laser scanning, mobile mapping and digital photogrammetry. He studied Geodesy in 1994–2001 at Vienna University of Technology with specialization in Engineering Geodesy. He graduated at Vienna University of Technology about »A Knowledge-Based Decision System for an On-Line Videotheodolite-Based Multi-Sensor« in 2004. As a postdoc he worked at Vienna University of Technology, ETH-Zurich and University of Calgary Canada. Alexander Reiterer has been involved in numerous research projects, among them the EU-project De-Montes and the nationally funded project i-MeaS.
